MacuShield Original+ Vegetarian is a food supplement for eye health** which also contains lutein (10mg), zeaxanthin (2mg) and meso-zeaxanthin (10mg) and also contains Vitamin B2 which is proven to help maintain normal vision.
Scientific research shows that these three nutrients are found at the back of the eye, at the macula, where they form the macula pigment (yellow colour). Meso-zeaxanthin is particularly concentrated at the centre of this pigment. The macula is a specialist parts of the eye that is responsible for detailed, central vision.
Lutein and zeaxanthin can be found in fruits and dark green leafy vegetables and meso-zeaxanthin is present in some species of fish and seafood. The macula carotenoids in MacuShield are obtained from marigolds (Tagetus Erecta), specifically grown for this purpose.
MacuShield Original+ Vegetarian contains vitamin B2 (riboflavin) which is scientifically proven to support eye health by helping to maintain normal vision.
MacuShield Original+ Vegetarian is an easy to take soft gel capsule. The tablets should be taken once a day, with food or a meal.

Bulking agent: Sunflower seed oil, capsule shell (modified corn starch, humectant: glycerol, gelling agent: carrageenan, colour: red iron oxide E172, acidity regulator: Sodium carbonate), marigold extract (of which 15% is combined: lutein, meso-zeaxanthin & zeaxanthin, dl-alpha-tocopherol), thickener: beeswax yellow, riboflavin.
Take one softgel capsule daily with a meal.
